We’re excited to announce that we’re attending Dragonsteel Nexus 2024! If you’ve been following us for some time you’d know that we’re huge Brandon Sanderson fans. So of course, we’re super excited to cover our third Brandon Sanderson “Cosmere Con” a.k.a. Dragonsteel Nexus (see our previous posts in 2022 and 2023). It being one day from the con (as of this posting), we thought it would be fun to share a sneak peak of our cosplay for this year’s con!
Skkaw’s Stormlight Archive Cosplay
One thing I always wanted to do was attend the con in Cosplay. That’s why this year, I’m going to attend in cosplay as Kaladin from the Stormlight Archive. If you’re unfamiliar, the Stormlight Archive is Brandon Sanderson’s epic fantasy book series. The release of the last book in the current series is coinciding with Dragonsteel Nexus 2024. So wearing this cosplay during the book release at the convention will be very special for me. Check out (a sneak peak) of the main parts of my cosplay, and as well as my self made Radiant Syl Spear (Kaladin’s weapon) below.

Special thank you to my good buddy Carlos for lending me his Kaladin cosplay jacket and vest. The Syl Spear includes some custom made 3D printed parts (among other parts) I put together myself. Go Bridge 4!
Justin’s Mistborn Cosplay
Not to be outdone, Justin also packed some cool stuff for the trip. He’s going to cosplay as Wayne from Mistborn Era 2 book series of Brandon Sanderson. Check out a sneak peek of his cosplay below:
