Tor Books publishes famous Science Fiction and Fantasy titles like Ender’s Game by Orson Scott Card, the Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan and The Stormlight Archive Series by Brandon Sanderson. Tor Books has a great online presence via Tor.com. If you aren’t aware, subscribers to Tor.com’s eBook of the Month Club receive a free fantasy or sci-fi eBook a month! They have some interesting reads at TOR and, who knows, you may find your next favotire Fantasy/Sci-Fi book there.  Kindly note though, that this offer is valid for legal residents of the United States and Canada only. GOG-Logo-1

Free and Discounted Games via GOG.com

If you’re not familiar with GOG.com, it’s a platform which sells some older games (think Monkey Island, Loom, others) and newer independently produced or Indie games.  If you subscribe to GOG’s Newsletter, you’ll notice that every once and a while, GOG will announce a free game giveaway.  Heads-up, their newsletter can fill up your mailbox as, at certain times, I’ve received an email from them almost every 2 days.  But, if you watch your inbox you could get rewarded with a free game!  Or, alternatively, you’ll see when their site goes on sale and can get an opportunity to pick up some good games on the cheap. Their site-wide sales can get pretty good, with up to 70% off or at certain times.  To be in the know, you just need to sign-up for a GOG account which is free.  Check it out at GOG’s website, link below:

Free and Discounted eBooks and Games via Humble Bundle

Similar to GOG.COM, Humble Bundle is another portal that sells games, ebooks, software, and other digital content. The Humble Team’s mission has been to support charity (e.g., be “Humble”) while providing awesome content to customers at great prices. I often go here for their discounted programming and hardware eBook “Bundles”. Also, if you’re looking for VERY discounted RPG eBook bundles (PATHFINDER, Numenera, etc.), look no further! Also, sale proceeds get donated too so it’s a WIN-WIN situation.  Additionally, like GOG.com, they also announce some free games via their Newsletter. For more info, check out their website below:
