SiliconSJ was a DREAM! I mean, one of the highlights of a Maker con like SiliConSJ is definitely the cosplay. And man was the cosplay game strong at this one. I was also particularly excited for this con, as I had been preparing for a couple weeks to share my Sandman / Dream cosplay (more... Continue Reading →
Celebrity Sightings @ SDCC 2019
While we did not attend any Hall H panels this year at SDCC, we did spot some Hollywood celebrities at San Diego Comic Con this year. As fans it was super cool to be so close to people we love to watch on screen. While taking photos of celebrities at SDCC can be very hectic,... Continue Reading →
Santa Cruz Long Weekend 2018
One of the amazing things about California is the variety of things to see, explore and experience. This weekend I was fortunate enough to visit the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk, Wharf and historic Surf Museum. Santa Cruz is known as one, if not the, earliest place where surfing was introduced to North America. It's an iconic... Continue Reading →

Also, after the museum closed I took a stroll around Golden Gate Park. There was/is so much to see. Here's a look at some of my favorites... Continue Reading →
Saturday Hike Day: Muir Woods National Monument
Post San Diego Comic Con I choose a nice relaxing way to spend my weekend, hiking Muir Woods! Muir Woods is part of Golden Gate National Recreational Area which is just North of San Francisco. It’s full of giant Redwood trees and I almost half expected an Ewok to pop out (these Redwoods are of... Continue Reading →

Dinosaur Point
So I was turned back by Park Rangers from Yosemite yesterday due to Forest Fires. Ended up taking an extended drive around the rolling hills of Northern California. Eventually took lunch along the scenic Dinosaur Point Boat launch, still fun! Here are some photos of my (mis)adventures!
